We’re all experiencing a drastic change in how we live our lives. For me, anyway, it still doesn’t seem real. Everyday I wake up and forget what we are going through. Before my feet hit the floor, reality sets in.
Staying at home and reducing contact is a challenge, but it’s clearly a worthy cause to beat this thing. The price we will pay in lost time with family and friends and lost work is yet to be determined, but it is weighing heavily on us all. We are all yearning to get back to “normal”.
It is inspiring to see the City of Houston and other cities around the world unite in their efforts to stop COVID-19. And it is becoming more apparent the debt of gratitude that we all owe our courageous men and women in “essential services”, especially our first responders and healthcare professionals.
It is our hope that this video will uplift some spirits and continue to unite our great City. After all, we will get through this, separately, together.
